2010 Playboy Mazda MX5 Cup

The Mazda MX5's take off from the start line on Sunday.

As baseball great Yogi Berra said, "It ain't over, till it's over," and that was the case in the Playboy Mazda MX5 cup Sunday afternoon as Brad Rampelberg, who leads the MX5 Cup season, spun out as he took the third-to-last turn of the final lap too wide, spinning out in the dirt and coming in last place.

Matt Pombo, who took pole position in qualifying, challenged Rampelberg for first the entire race, as the two of them switched off the lead every other lap.

Racing for the SPCA of Monterey County, former-Indy 500 champ Danny Sullivan zips down the finish line straight away as a race official looks on.
