Last night, I trekked over to Salinas—cowboy boots uncomfortably on—and shot one of my favorite events all year: the Professional Bull Riding tour, which kicks off the action at the 100th California Rodeo Salinas.
The intensity and forces thrown upon the riders as they're thrown from the bulls is wild. It is really clean, close-up action.
A rider in the chute prepares for a wild ride.
Cowboys watch the action from the chutes.
A record crowd showed up for the 10th annual PBR circuit stop in Salinas.
